How to Enter a Mapcode in a Japanese Rental Car GPS
- Press ใ็ฎ็ๅฐใ (Destination) on the navigation menu.
- Choose ใใใใใณใผใใ (Mapcode). On some units it is under ใใใฎไปใ (Other).
- Type the digits. Include the digits after "*" if the unit supports them; otherwise the digits before it get you within about 30 m.
If the unit doesn't take mapcodes, search by the facility's phone number or use Google Maps navigation instead.
